The National Round Table for Migration and Refugees in the Dominican Republic (MENAMIRD) in solidarity with Haiti https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-34491-icihaiti-earthquake-the-dominican-government-sends-humanitarian-aid-to-haiti.html, after the major earthquake of 7.2 on the Richter scale that devastated southern Haiti on August 14, reiterated its call to the international community to increase its aid to the neighboring country.

Likewise, it asked Haitian Civil Protection organizations to speed up the process of searching for missing persons.

MENAMIRD said it has set up various collection centers in Villa Mella and Villa Juana to receive humanitarian aid to be sent to victims of Haiti.
