iciHaiti - Diaspora : Élizabeth Pierre, aims for the crown of Miss America

Haitian-American Élizabeth Pierre (23) elected Miss Massachusetts in July 2021, (born of Haitian parents from Jacmel and Port-au-Prince), will compete for the title of Miss America in December 2021.
Élizabeth Pierre is graduated in Human Development and Family Sciences from Syracuse University and will begin a master's program in clinical social work at Boston College this fall.
First candidate of Haitian origin to be elected Miss Massachussets, many are those of the Haitian diapsora who hope that she will be crowned Miss America 2021 as was another Haitian-American Marjorie Vincent (Miss Illinois), who was crowned Miss America in 1991.
