Jean Emmanuel Jacquet, the Minister of Culture, learned "with great sorrow of the departure" of the artist Christian Joseph aka "Joe Chris", who died following an accident at Delmas 65.

"Joseph Christian is one of the musicians who have contributed to the evolution of Haitian musical thought, he left behind a musical heritage commensurate with his talent.

Father of two twins, Christian Joseph, born in Port-de-Paix on October 27, 1963, died at the age of 58. He was at the same time guitarist, author, composer, sound engineer and the maestro of the group Triomecs, of which he distinguished himself by his spirit of discipline and openness, and by his unique style.

Founder of the musical groups Triomecs and Diabolo band, he has also lent his talent to other musical groups and cultural institutions such as the Kreyolololo Center.
