On September 3, 2021, the Japanese Ambassador accredited to Haiti, Mitsuaki Mizuno participated in the heavy equipment handover ceremony for the benefit of the Ministry of Agriculture.

The donated batch, consisting of a drill and 22 tractors, will help fight food insecurity, which has been exacerbated especially since August 14 by the terrible impacts of the earthquake.

Heavy machinery intended for road construction (bulldozer, excavator, trucks, mechanical shovel, etc...) for the benefit of the Ministry of Public Works will also be officially handed over soon.
