The Ministry of Public Health through the National Coordination Unit of the Vaccination Program in collaboration with 5 town halls in the metropolitan area is launching a series of vaccination activities against Covid-19 in sites with large reception capacity located in very accessible points at the level of the different municipalities.

The activities will take place over 4 weekends in the following municipalities : Port-au-Prince, Delmas, Pétion-ville, Tabarre and Croix-des-Bouquets between September and October in order to reach people who do not have no time to go to regular vaccination sites during the week. This activity began on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 September 2021 in the municipalities of Delmas (Municipal Palace of Delmas) and Tabarre (Lycée Jean Mary Vincent).

These vaccination sessions are carried out in a very friendly atmosphere, accompanied by cultural activities that will serve as a platform for communication and social mobilization work. Also, public figures and artists will be invited to speak for the occasion.

Along with other hygiene measures and barrier gestures, vaccination is a safe means of protection against serious forms of Covid-19. The Ministry of Public Health invites everyone to continue to be vaccinated in one of the 59 centers open in the 10 departments and to take advantage of these weekends of special vaccination activities.
