iciHaiti - International Airport : Seizure of more than 2kg of drugs bound for the USA

Saturday September 11, 2021 at Toussaint Louverture International Airport, as part of the operation "Maché pran yo" of agents of the Office for the Fight against Narcotics Trafficking (BLTS) and the Central Directorate of the Judicial Police (DCPJ) seized 2.15 kg of drugs.
2 individuals linked to this drug trafficking case identified as Michelet LAPOINTE () and Edner RÉMY (38) were arrested as they were preparing to leave the country on a regular flight to Fort Lauderdale (USA).
After the legal report of a justice of the peace of the jurisdiction, the two people arrested were taken into custody at the DCPJ for the rest of the proceedings.
