iciHaiti - FLASH : Night of terror in Kenscoff 4 dead, wounded and houses set on fire
On the night of Thursday October 7 to Friday October 8, 2021, a group of armed individuals raised arms and spread terror and sowed panic among residents of the locality of Rezankou in Kenscoff (West Department).

The toll is heavy during these savage shootings, at least 4 people were killed including the painter Jacob Thébeau, and many others wounded by bullets including a 12-year-old girl and several houses were set on fire.

According to residents, pending intervention by the National Police of Haiti (PNH) to drive out its dangerous criminals who are sowing terror in this locality, the situation remained tense due to the presence of armed men.

These acts would be the work of an armed group from the neighborhood of Dechapelle, a popular neighborhood known to be hot for some time, which controls this area according to a local resident.

Speaking on Saturday on the radio of the Capital, Athis Thebaud (brother of the artist Jacob Thébeau killed) believes that it would be one more episode, of a vendetta that two families have been waging for 4 years. Convinced that these heavily armed individuals were recruited in Grand-Ravine and Fessard by one of the parties involved in this family conflict...
