Wednesday, October 13, as part of the strategic plans aimed at providing solutions to the problems of insecurity, Léon Charles the Director General ai of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) made changes at the level of the West Departmental Directorate.

Alex Pierre Louis, the Departmental Director for the West, was replaced this by Divisional Commissioner Frenel Saintil. The latter was responsible for the Departmental Operation and Intervention Brigade (BOID);

The Principal Commissioner of Petion-ville, Patrick Rozarion, was transferred to the Central Directorate of Administrative Police (DCPA) and replaced by the Principal Commissioner, Kalerbe Exantus.
