Two bandits held up a man in Delmas 75 in the Puits Blain neighborhoodbefore killing him. Several police patrols were quickly dispatched to various streets to apprehend the perpetrators of this odious act.
Fleeing aboard a motorcycle registered MCTB-32285, the bandits attempted to cover their escape by shooting at the police. In exchanges of fire the 2 bandits were killed and 2 pistols recovered.
The victim, Merilus Jean Louis Maxime (57), who had just completed a bank transaction, received 3 projectiles and succumbed to his injuries in hospital.
