The Art Center and UNESCO wish a good and productive residence to the artist Phaidra Mc Queen Sterlin, Haitian laureate of the grant for cross residences in the Caribbean. She will be in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, until December 1, 2021 (Nov. 2nd to Dec. 1st, 2021)

Note that as part of the project : Implementation of a network for the creation and dissemination of Caribbean art, The Art Center benefits from the support of UNESCO for the implementation of artistic residencies in 6 countries of the Caribbean region, including Haiti.

The project supports the development and dissemination of contemporary Caribbean art

• By creating a Caribbean network for artistic creation;

• By promoting the artistic production of Caribbean women;

• By promoting the exchange of good professional practices within cultural institutions to improve the visibility and dissemination of Caribbean artists.
