The National Police of Haiti (PNH) accompanied by the deputy justice of the peace, Me Pédro Joseph, proceeded, in St Michel de l'Attalaye in the locality of Marmont, to the arrest of Olivier Fénélon (31) actively sought for almost a year for kidnapping for ransom followed by the murder of a 13-year-old girl.

In addition, two other individuals were arrested by the St-Michel police for criminal conspiracy and attempted kidnapping of the person of entrepreneur Emmanuel Belhomme, Director of Excelsior companies. These are two men born in St-Michel, living and domiciled in Cap-Haitien : Joseph Jeannot (35) and Joseph Francius (49).
