Saturday, November 13 in a note, the Prime Minister Office formally and categorically denied the false information circulating on social networks according to which the Government had disbursed 40 million gourdes to the coalition of armed gangs "G9" to negotiate a truce facilitating the passage of tank trucks transporting fuel at the Varreux terminal in Cité-Soleil.

"These are strategies of fabrications, of intoxication, of vile political maneuvers aimed at willfully misleading the population. Thus, the Prime Minister rigorously denounces this campaign with destabilizing aims.

It takes this opportunity to inform the public that the Government has instructed the Government Commissioner of Port-au-Prince to take all measures to invite the instigators of these allegations to provide proof of their statements [...]"
