Ariel Henry, the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor (also Prime Minister) reminds "employers of for-profit companies and institutions [...] the obligation to pay employees an additional salary or bonus between the 24th and the December 31 of each year, regardless of the duration of employment, in accordance with the provisions of articles 134 and following of the Haitian Labor Code.

To this end, a body of labor inspectors will be deployed throughout the national territory to ensure the application of said provisions in the companies and institutions concerned."
