iciHaiti - Cuba : Staging of the battle of November 18, 1803

As part of the commemoration of the 218th anniversary of the Battle of Vertières (November 18, 2021), the Embassy of Haiti in coordination with the Caribbean Association of Cuba, organized an activity where the main points of the battle were presented.
In front of an audience made up of representatives of the Diplomatic Mission, young people from the community of Haitian descendants, members of the Caribbean Association, representatives of Haitian descendants, and other friendly associations, the group "Misterio de Vodù" from Cuba, under a rhythm of drums, staged the battle of November 18, 1803.
The objective of the activity was to present, especially for young Haitian descendants, the importance of this battle for Haiti. Union, which was the basis of this victory, should be the common thread of all action to achieve the collective well-being of everyone.
