iciHaiti - PNH : 69 police officers honored for their remarkable services to the population
After paying posthumous tribute to 119 police officers in uniform killed on duty, missing or died of natural causes, in the presence of relatives, friends, widows, widowers, sons and daughters of the police, the high command of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) at the initiative of the Commander-in-Chief ai, Frantz Elbé honored Thursday, January 6, 2022, 69 police officers for their remarkable services provided to the population during the year 2021.

The ceremony which took place at the National Police School on the road of the brothers, (Pétion-ville), in the presence of the high command, members of the Government including the Prime Minister, Ariel Henry, aimed to salute the courage, the bravery and determination of these motivated agents to serve the Haitian State despite the difficulties encountered.

Several police officers and administrative personnel of all ranks, ranks, functions and specialized units received a certificate with mention "Honor and Merit".

Frantz Elbé, the Director General ai of the PNH, through this initiative, intended to promote exemplary acts and conduct within the police institution and as a result, encourage good practices and strengthen the "esprit de corps" and solidarity between all members of the PNH like a large family which does not forget any of its family dead on duty or alive.
