iciHaiti - La Saline : A thousand students happy to regain their high school closed for 3 years
On January 10, 2022 took place the ceremony to resume school activities at the national high school of La Saline (1,103 students: 516 boys and 587 girls).

For the thousand students, teachers, parents and residents of the area, this is a landmark event, because for three years, due to armed violence, the school administration had been forced to redistribute its staff in four other establishments

In view of this return, the management of the school has succeeded in mobilizing local notables who have invested themselves generously in the operations of sanitation and sensitization of the population.

During this ceremony, an announcement was particularly applauded in addition to an Interactive Digital Board, the national high school of La Saline now has a multimedia room which has 25 laptops. In addition, in accordance with the strategy “Lekòl pa ka tann !", the Ministry plans to loan a digital tablet to each Secondary IV student to encourage them to use their free time at school, at home. It is about extending the learning environment beyond the walls of a classroom.

The ceremony for the resumption of school activities at the Lycée de La Saline was punctuated by the successive interventions of Pastor David Saintisar (notable in the area), Selina Apollon (Secondary 4 student, SES series), Ralph Vladimir Rameau (director of the lycée), Etienne France Louisseul (Departmental Director of Education for the West, DDEO) and Louis Fritz Dorminvil (Inspector General, member of the minister's office, in charge of schools in difficult areas).
