iciHaiti - Basketball : Donation of James Harden, Brooklyn Nets star to the children of Haiti
The famous basketball player James Harden, of the "Brooklyn Nets" (NBA) who participated 9 times in the all-star game, donated through his Impact13 Foundation, more than 5,000 supplies to Haitian children.

These supplies include performance apparel, backpacks, socks, shoes, water bottles and Adidas basketballs, as well as personal hygiene products such as sports deodorant, body wash and body lotions distributed to 3,000 children

The Impact13 Foundation has partnered with GoPuff for the delivery of 3,000 personal hygiene products, including condoms, tampons, postpartum underwear and sanitary napkins.

In addition, Harden, who is a veteran in the NBA for having already spent 13 years in the North American Basketball League, has partnered with the Barbancourt Foundation in Haiti and the local graffiti artist, painter, illustrator , and graphic designer Olivier Arsène Ganthier for the realization of a new basketball court featuring the creative work of the artist.

Harden said "...it is indeed the right thing to do. I wanted to leave something that would eventually help generations. This basketball court will provide the kids of Haiti with the opportunity to have a safe place to play basketball. It will inspire people to chase their dreams by making it to the NBA or WNBA."
