Thursday, February 10, 2022, 12 young Haitian scholarship holders left Haiti for the Dominican Republic to undertake two years of study at the Higher Technical Institute for Environmental Management and Natural Resources of Jarabacoa.

Accompanied by Me Joël Deneus, member of the cabinet of the Minister of the Environment James Cadet, these twelve young people will be trained in forest management and environmental management, thanks to cooperation between the Ministry of the Environment and the Ministry of the Environment and of Natural Resources (MARENA) of the neighboring Republic.
