iciHaiti - Cooperation : The Ambassador of Canada meets the Mayor of Cap-Haitien 19/02/2022 09:26:50
During this meeting, Ambassador Carrière and Mayor Yvrose Pierre discussed, in particular, cooperation between Haiti and Canada, but above all on the importance of decentralized cooperation for the major cities of Haiti and particularly for Cap-Haitien and the need to provide lasting solutions to the problems facing the city. They also stressed during this meeting the importance of continuing to support economic actors in the region and encourage trade between the two countries. At the end of this meeting, Ambassador Carrière said he was very happy to have met the Mayor of Cap-Haitien at the head of the country's second city, "[...] what a bon bagay !
