iciHaiti - Iron sculpture : Triple exhibitions at Maison Dufort

The AfricAméricA Foundation, once again at Maison Dufort https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-33874-icihaiti-cut-iron-exhibition-nway-kanpe.html , celebrates the talents of the Artistic Village of Noailles, around of the theme "Nway Kanpe!" (Noailles standing !), a slogan hailing the tremendous resilience of the 73 workshops that remained active.

The sad context evoked, reminds us of the brutal disappearance of the sculptor Anderson Belony noailles.html an exhibition that pays him a well-deserved tribute.

Thus, a selection of old and recent works by Eddy Jean Rémy, Anderson Bellony, Falaise Péralte is presented in a retrospective format. These three artists emerged from the 2000s. It is therefore three individual exhibitions that each deserve to be accompanied by a separate catalog.

This new stage of meeting with these artists was made possible thanks to the support of partners such as FOKAL, the Swiss Embassy in Haiti, the Caribbean Development Bank, through the CIIF Haiti program and the visual arts incubator https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-35864-haiti-economy-launch-of-3-cultural-accelerator-programs.html which will allow to associate a technical training module, with the assembly of these three exhibitions.

The opening of the three exhibitions will take place this Saturday, March 12 at 11:00 a.m. at the Maison Dufort at no. 9 rue du travail.

The exhibitions will remain open every day until March 31 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
