Me Ronald Richemond, Commissioner of the Government of Les Cayes, confirmed that during an operation of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) on Saturday July 2nd, 2022, Antoine Mandela, alias "Tiati" dangerous gang leader of the Commune of Torbeck, was arrested around 11:00 p.m. at Portail Léogâne.

Antoine Mandela is accused of armed robbery, rape, robbery, murder and association of criminals.

Madala had been the most wanted for more than a year in the South Department.
