iciHaiti - Mirebalais : Arrest of 5 active members of the «400 Mawozo»
On the night of Thursday to Friday August 12, 2022, an operation led by the National Police of Haiti (PNH) in the Center department led to the arrest of 5 active members of a "400 Mawozo" gang.

In Mirebalais, particularly in the locality "Triyanon", communal section "Gran Boukan", the PNH arrested the names Lochard Ermond (29 years old) and Mercidieu Lochard (38) alias "Jerry", both from Bon Repos (Croix-des-Bouquets). As well as Kenold Edner (38) native of "Triyanon" who hid these two individuals in his house.

At the same time, in the "Fon Cheval" locality, a police operation led to the arrest of Mathieu Peterson (26) alias "Johny" and Petit-Homme Ismaïson (20) members of the "400 Mawozo" suspected of involvement in acts of kidnapping, armed robbery and accused of criminal association. Actively sought by the police, these individuals were involved in particular in the kidnapping of Antonio Saint-Jean in June 2022.

The PNH carried out these sweeps thanks to the collaboration of the population. She takes the opportunity to invite the latter to continue to share information with the police, in order to put all the thugs out of harm's way.
