iciHaiti - Security : The PNH calls on the population to remain calm

The National Police of Haiti (PNH) asks the population to remain calm as it continues to regain control of the widespread chaotic situation in different cities of the country.

Stone barricades, broken electric poles, barricades of burning tires, bottles and wrought iron make it even more difficult for the police to help people in need who need to go to the hospital, people who need water and food to reach their neighborhood or people who need the police to intervene quickly to prevent others from attacking or destroying their businesses.

Road clearing operation :

After several days of protests that have paralyzed activities, the Police are beginning to unblock the streets and remove the barricades in order to allow life to resume its normal course and restore order throughout the country.
