Thursday, October 13, 2022 in the Lilavois neighborhood (Bon repos, commune of Croix-des-Bouquets) the National Police of Haiti (PNH) proceeded to the arrest of Jolicœur Romain alias "coucou" suspected of complicity in the kidnapping followed by sequestration of a sexagenarian kidnapped at her home on the night of October 12 to 13, 2022 in Lilavois 1.

Informed of the kidnapping by the population, the police officers assigned to the Bon-Repos sub-police station intervened quickly and carried out systematic searches in several abandoned houses in the area. This forced the kidnappers to abandon their hostage before fleeing.

Moreover "Peter" thus known, suspected of being the main perpetrator of this kidnapping as well as his accomplice Claudenet alias "Piti Resan" are actively sought by the Police in connection with this case.
