Saturday October 15, 2022, 3 individuals were fatally injured in exchanges of fire with the police, during an operation by the Intervention Brigade of the Bon-Repos sub-police station in Lilavois 1.

These individuals, one of whom was identified as Joelson Dieujuste, specialized in kidnappings, robberies and burglaries, particularly in the localities of Rosembert and Lilavois.

A 9mm caliber pistol, two motorcycles and 4 cell phones were seized.

In addition, the Bon-Repos sub-police station has taken new measures to increase police patrols in several neighborhoods following several complaints in relation to acts of banditry of which local residents have been victims in recent weeks.
