"The General Directorate of the National Police of Haiti condemns with the utmost rigor the heinous assassination Tuesday, October 18, 2022 of Principal Commissioner Bact in Tabarre in an ambush. Responsible for the Police Station of Croix-des-Bouquets, he was very involved and had distinguished himself by his sense of leadership and commitment in the large-scale operations carried out by the PNH against organized crime, in particular against the gang of '400 Mawozo' and the gang led by Innocent Vitel'Homme alias 'Vitelom'.

The High Command of the National Police bows to the remains of this exemplary executive and shares its condolences with the members of his hard-to-be-bereaved family.
