The situation was tense on Saturday afternoon at the Varreux oil terminal, numerous exchanges of fire took place between the police and "G9" men who tried in vain to regain the position.

The National Police is determined to continue the fight tirelessly to secure the perimeter of Varreux, facilitate the release of fuel so that the distribution can be done at the pumps and that life can resume as it should.
