The 7th edition of the Theater and Performing Arts Festival "En Lisant" is officially launched. The organizers have prepared a rich program which will take place from December 12 to 18, 2022

The playwright Andrise Pierre will be the guest of honor for this 7th edition.

“Choosing to write theater is taking a huge risk […] But Andrise made this choice without any hesitation. She went straight there. Reading is proud of her. Proud of this path she decided to take. I see in Andrise's theater strength, clarity and lucidity. People often tend to think that playwrights are invisible […] Yet the stories created and performed on stage are the fruit of a long period of work. These authors sacrifice themselves to build these stories. Andrise is one of them. They sacrifice a part of themselves to portray these stories which will then be interpreted by actors

[…] What I like about Andrise's writing is its power, the power of the style, the power of the words chosen. We are confronted with the personal history of the author. She takes the risk of telling her private life. This writing not only starts from the "I" to end up with other "I" ... Andrise's imagination does not lock itself in but opens up to the other. To all those others who have known in their flesh and soul the sum of all this inhuman pain and suffering. The theater of Andrise is attentive to all the violence experienced by all humans and especially women. How to write violence without being caught in the trap of compassion?
