iciHaiti - Invitation : 15th Edition of the Fair «Artisanat en Fête»
Friday, December 9 Max Chauvet, Director of the newspaper Le Nouvelliste, co-organizer, with the Institute for Research and Promotion of Haitian Art (IRPAH), announced that the 15th Edition of the Fair "Artisanat en Fête" will take place this year, on December 20, 2022, at the Karibe Convention Center where more than 200 artisans will offer the most beautiful market in the country, four days before Christmas.

The chosen theme says the ambition of the organizers: "Atizana bay travay". In a country where immense challenges stand in the way of every Haitian, it is good to support those who transform their creativity into products and trade in them.

"Artisans had a very difficult year. More than the rest of the population. With the absence of tourists, visitors from the Haitian diaspora and executives from international institutions, they have seen buyers disappear. Despite everything, the craftsmen did not give up. It is our duty as the organizer of the largest fair in the sector to offer them an opportunity to meet the public before Christmas,” added Max Chauvet.

As usual, it is the Institute for Research and Promotion of Haitian Art (IRPAH) that selects the craftsmen. The IRPAH has decided to do so without registration fees this year. The selected ones will be able to participate thanks to their regularity during previous editions or thanks to their talent. Each year the leaders of the Institute always introduce new craftsmen to enliven the fair. This will still be the case for the 2022 edition which is held for one day exceptionally, December 20.

The time between the announcement and the realization of the fair is very short, interested parties are invited to contact the IRPAH as soon as possible.
