iciHaiti - Social : 56,951 workers will receive aid of 6,800 Gourdes from the State
As part of the implementation of the Multisectoral Emergency Program for the Appeasement and Reintegration of Vulnerable Groups, the Government has carried out, via the Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES), monetary transfers for the benefit of 35 factories in the sector. subcontracting out of a total of 37.

Following the signing of a memorandum of understanding between FAES, the Association of Industries of Haiti (ADIH) and the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, 56,951 workers in the subcontracting sector will each receive an allowance of 6,800 Gourdes as soon as possible.

This initiative aims to support the workers faced the increase in the price of petroleum products, by granting them financial assistance of 3,400 gourdes per month for 2 months which should help them cover transport and meal costs.

The funds have been transferred to the accounts of the various factories selected, which will have to pay the two monthly installments of the subsidy to their employees.
