Davensly Pierre Charles, a 6-year-old child, kidnapped from his home in Carrefour Feuilles on November 25, 2022 and subject to several ransom demands by the kidnappers, was released by agents from the Central Directorate of Judicial Police (DCPJ) with the help from the authorities of the communal sections of Tombe Gâteau and Fondroit.

Two of the kidnappers, Charly François and Jefferson Jolicoeur (the child's older brother) had been arrested a few days earlier by police officers from the Port-au-Prince police station and transferred to the DCPJ, which made it possible to continue the investigation and to find the child.

This release was made possible thanks to the support of the police stations of Léogâne, Gressier and the Haitian Navy.
