iciHaiti - Justice : Grand final of the 7th edition of the Pleading Competition (finalists)
Due to insecurity, the final phase of the 7th edition of the Human Rights Pleading Competition, originally scheduled for August 25, 2022 at the Court of Appeal of Les Cayes, has been rescheduled. It is finally in Port-au-Prince, at Quisqueya University, that the final will take place this Thursday, December 29, 2022, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. around the four qualified finalist students:

Peterson AGENOR: Les Cayes School of Law and Economics (EDSEC)

Kleidd Faublas ROUSSEAU: Faculty of Legal and Political Sciences (FSJP) of Quisqueya University (UNIQ)

Willy OCTAVIUS: Public University of the South in Les Cayes (UPSAC)

Nikendolph Faréstin RAYMÉ: Faculty of Law and Economics (FDSE) of the State University of Haiti (UEH)

The debates will focus on 3 strong themes:

- The exclusion of Russia from the Security Council; ;
- The indictment of a magistrate with regard to his court decisions;
- The centralization of personal data by the State.

Let's recall that this activity is part of the Legal Assistance and Human Rights program with the support of the Embassies of Switzerland, Germany and France in Haiti and FOKAL.

Thanks to the partnership with the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie AUF-Caraïbes, the winner of the Competition will be invited to follow in the footsteps of Rose Lumane Saint-Jean at the International Speech Competition organized by the Panthéon-Sorbonne University!
