On December 29, as part of an operation by the Central Directorate of Judicial Police (DCPJ), businessman Etienne Philippe alias "Pipo" has been arrested in the department of Grande-Anse for various offenses including escape, fraud, use of forgery, association of criminals to the detriment of the Haitian State.

Let's recall that the Central Directorate of the Judicial Police (DCPJ) had issued a wanted notice against him following his spectacular release from the Civil Prison of Port-au-Prince on April 4th, 2022 where he had declared to have paid for his release.
