Saturday February 11, 2023, as part of an anti-kidnapping operation carried out by the Cell Against Kidnapping (CCE) of the Central Directorate of Judicial Police (DCPJ) supported by a team from the Intervention and Research Brigade (BRI), the named Alexandre Athazar was arrested on the road to Delmas near Delmas 32.

Alexandre Athazar had been actively sought for several months by the DCPJ for his involvement in more than 12 cases of kidnapping committed in the metropolitan area.

During his arrest, two documents were found in his possession, a passport and a badge from the Protected Areas Surveillance Brigade (BSAP) in the name of Alexandre Athazar.

His other accomplices are actively sought and the DCPJ encourages all victims of this individual to file a complaint.
