iciHaiti - Cap-Haitien : Let's go for Carnival 2023

The Municipal Commission officially launched the 2023 carnival festivities, the main activities of which should take place from Friday 17 to Tuesday 21 February around the theme "An ede Okap kenbe Ayiti vivan".

The amount of the estimated budget, for the realization of this Carnival, is about 116 million Gourdes, informed Marc Donald Bazile, the President of the Carnival Committee.

In addition, the Municipal Commission wishes to offer to the general public Capois, the participation of the groups T-Vice, Kreyol la, Ekip, which normally should accompany the two great orchestras of all times of the country, "Septentrional" and "Tropicana d'Haiti ".

Emphasizing "[...] this great event will be a moment of entertainment, of living together, during which the revelers should commune in harmony, peace and security."

Moreover, as part of the preparation for the smooth running of Carnival activities in the city of Cap-Haitien this year, the Municipal Commission and the Carnival Committee met with the National Police of Haiti (PNH), Electricité d' Haiti (EDH), Public Works and the National Solid Waste Management Service to discuss and coordinate the action of each action of this popular holiday.

The PNH for its part after discussions on the course of the carnival gives the guarantee that all measures have been taken to ensure the safety of all participants in the festival.
