In a note Frantz Elbé, the Acting Director General of the National Police of Haiti (PNH), "notes with amazement that a campaign of intoxication, denigration and destabilization is being orchestrated on social networks against the police institution in order to curb the efforts of our valiant police officers engaged in the fight against armed gangs in order to restore order and security."

Faced with these facts, the PNH reminds that it reserves the right to take legal action, both nationally and internationally, in the event of recidivism on the part of these ill-intentioned individuals.

Furthermore, Frantz Elbé, wishes to remind the general population and the police in particular that they must be vigilant with regard to these false allegations which tend to tarnish the image of the institution and to weaken the good relations between the police and the public.
