iciHaiti - Energy : Donation of solar panels
Decom Solar, has completed the dismantling of a 661.96 kW solar installation, located on the roof of a warehouse in Watertown, Massachusetts, for Seyon Management, to facilitate the renovation of the buildings.

"We are thrilled to work with clients who share our dedication to sustainability. Seyon Management recognized the importance of keeping functional solar equipment in operation," said Jerry D’Arco, co-founder of Decom Solar.

Decom Solar has partnered with the non-profit foundation "Let's Share the Sun" and donated part of the equipment, which will provide clean energy to the Santa Chiara Children's Center in the commune of Cité Sun in Port-au-Prince.

"Let's Share the Sun" coordinates the delivery and installation of equipment in Haiti, overcoming the challenges posed by the climate of insecurity "Our focus is on ensuring that these modules reach Haiti to provide clean energy to the neediest communities most affected by political unrest," said Bill Jordan, co-founder of Let's Share the Sun.

By keeping this equipment in operation, it is expected to produce enough energy to power 154 homes per year.
