Monday, May 22, the Police in the Artibonite proceeded to the arrest of Datilus Jean Gladson (18 years old), alias "Sache" from Mowo, a locality of the Commune of Liancourt who assumed the role of scout for the account of the "Gran Grif" gang, operating in Savien. He was apprehended in the company of his accomplice Edouard Edva (38), a member of the same gang.
At the same time, Frito Aristil (29), a member of the gang called "57 Fòkè", an ally of the "Gran Grif" gang, was arrested by the police, not far from the Verettes police station. He is accused of murder, robbery, rape and hijacking of goods trucks.
According to information available to the Police, he allegedly murdered a person when he was in Chile. An international arrest warrant has been issued against him via Interpol.
