Sunday September 10, 2023, Reverend Pastor Joseph Aldo Cornet has been arrested, near his church by agents of the Office of Financial and Economic Affairs, as part of an investigation into a vast fraud network specializing in counterfeiting of documents including visas and residence cards from several North American countries.

Pastor Joseph Aldo Cornet used these false documents to defraud more than ten victims by guaranteeing them to travel to the United States of America or Canada.

On the basis of these acts with whom the network has already pocketed more than thirty thousand US dollars, Pastor Aldo is being held in custody at the Central Directorate of the Judicial Police (DCPJ) for legal consequences.
