iciHaiti - Ottawa : International food fair, Haitian dishes in high demand
Thursday, December 7, 2023, the Embassy of Haiti in Canada represented by Ms. Paula Arthur, Ms. Ismaëla Dubuisson and Mr. Gaspard Dorélien, participated in the International Food Fair of Global Affairs Canada, the equivalent of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Haiti, was present.

It was a great success for Haitian gastronomy, worthily represented by "diri djondjon" (rice with black mushrooms), national rice, pork griot and pikliz. Participants at the fair expressed their great appreciation for the cuisine of Haiti. All the dishes on offer at the Embassy stand quickly sold out, sparking high demand for more.

This participation once again marks a success for Haitian cuisine which, in 2022, was ranked among the 57 best cuisines in the world by Taste Atlas.
