Faced with this worrying situation, Bruno Rodríguez, the Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs (MINREX) took measures to guarantee the safe return of his compatriots. He affirmed on social networks that the Cuban Embassy in Haiti is concerned the situation of Cubans residing and transiting in Haiti.

"Consular officials maintain close contact with the Association of Cubans in this country and are taking measures for their safe return," he said without providing details...
