iciHaiti - Insecurity : The Varreux oil terminal blocked 23/04/2024 09:35:21
The bandits seized around ten trucks outside the terminal to use them as a roadblock. The access roads are blocked, the Gonaïves station, Chancerelles and La Saline are isolated. The terminal cannot deliver, the truckers cannot arrive while the bandits demand the closure of the terminal which remains under security control of the Varreux terminal which is not occupied by the bandits... A situation which will worsen the (artificial) shortage of fuel at service stations and push up fuel prices on the black market... TB/ iciHaiti
