iciHaiti - Gangs : Warning from Me André Michel
In a note Me André Michel leader of the radical opposition said "Democratic and Popular Sector" (SDP) "welcomes the imminent arrival of the multinational force [...] we say and repeat Haiti will not be able to escape from the hell of gangs without an international force. We salute the Patriotism of the members of the Presidential Transitional Council who have joined our position on the Multinational Force File.

Be careful, no amnesty for the Gangs ! These criminals who murdered, kidnapped, impoverished and humiliated tens of thousands of Families must be hunted down with the greatest rigor.

PM Ariel Henry and his political allies solicited and negotiated a Multinational Force to eliminate gangs from the socio-political landscape.

We are convinced that the country does not need these thugs who kidnap, murder, rape and steal ! The Haitian State must regain its dignity and the monopoly of legitimate violence by attacking the gangs with the support of international force.

Politicians of all stripes who seek amnesty for gang leaders in exchange for their support for the next electoral campaigns will not succeed."
