On Sunday, September 8, 2024, the Kenya contingent of the Security Support Mission underwent training on how to manage and improve individual behavior in combat stress prevention.

The training was prepared to enable participants to know and prevent various disorders associated with depression, to be aware of and prevent various disorders associated with stress such as gastroesophageal reflux and other derived behaviors.

It is therefore a tailor-made preventive intervention that was designed to meet the requirements of the Mission in Haiti, especially as it is moving towards decisive security operations to stop gang activities and liberate the areas they hold in Port-au-Prince and its surroundings.

The program was prepared by experts from "ASPEN Medical" of the United States and a team of doctors from the Kenyan contingent in collaboration with the MMSS training manager.
