In accordance with its prerogatives, the Presidential Transitional Council (CPT) organized, on September 19, 2024, a high-level meeting with the Diplomatic Corps and permanent representatives of international organizations.

Crucial topics were discussed, such as: security, elections, humanitarian aid, economic recovery, migration and corruption.

At the end of these discussions, Edgard Leblanc Fils, the rotating President of the Transitional Council, expressed the hope that this type of meeting could be held on a regular basis and with well-defined agendas.

He is convinced that this initiative could lead to a positive synergy leading to greater impacts for the benefit of the Haitian population.
