Friday, November 1st, 2024, Prime Minister Garry Conille, accompanied by 5 Ministers : Carlos Hercule (Justice), Ms. Ketleen Florestal (Economy), Jean Marc Berthier Antoine (Defense), Ms. Niola Lynn Sarah Dévalis Octavius (Youth, Sports), Georges Fils Brignol (Health), the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Haiti, Lieutenant-General Derby Guerrier and the Director General of the National Police of Haiti, Normil Rameau, went to Toussaint Louverture International Airport, to welcome Leslie Voltaire, President pro tempore of the Transitional Council, back from the 16th Conference of the Parties on Biodiversity (COP16) in Colombia.

Let's note the absence of Chancellor Dominique Dupuy, whom Voltaire had asked to be dismissed and whom Conille had refused, one of the requests that is part of the disagreement between Conille and Voltaire...

Let's recall that this week, CARICOM had expressed its concern about the divergences that continue to be expressed publicly between the President of the Transitional Council and the Prime Minister.
