iciHaiti - Declaration of assets : The Prime Minister demonstrates transparency

On Tuesday, December 10, 2024, Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé officially filed his declaration of assets in the presence of Me Mozart Tassy, Chief Clerk of the Court of First Instance (TPI) and Notary Jean Jacques B. Charlotin.

By taking this symbolic action, the Prime Minister reaffirms his desire to make transparency a central pillar of his mandate. He invites all civil service executives concerned, and particularly members of his Government, to follow suit "by respecting this legal and moral obligation, which is essential to the establishment of responsible governance."

The Prime Minister insisted "[...] transparency is not simply an administrative requirement : it is an essential lever to restore trust between the State and its citizens, and to lay the foundations of a society where public resources are managed with rigor and probity. The country needs transparency to move forward."

He stressed that filing the asset declaration is not an isolated act, but an invitation to all public actors concerned to engage in a dynamic of responsibility and accountability.
