The Haitian National Police (PNH) formally denies the false allegations circulating on social media, according to which the American Embassy in Haiti has asked the Police Institution to cease the series of interventions and police operations underway against gangs operating in Bas-Delmas.

The PNH wishes to emphasize that these false and manipulative messages are intended to tarnish the image of the Police Institution and to divert the population's attention from the relentless fight of the High Command of the PNH against organized crime in all its forms.

Furthermore, the PNH has already taken measures, through its various entities including the Central Directorate of the Judicial Police (DCPJ), to search for any individual involved in the disclosure of these defamatory, manipulative and malicious messages, which aim to disturb public order, in order to put him out of harm's way.

The National Police, once again, renews its determination to combat the phenomenon of organized crime throughout the national territory in order to restore peace and security in the country.
