iciHaiti - Football dispute : The FHF commits to arbitration according to international standards
The Haitian Football Federation (FHF) held a strategic meeting with representatives of the Haitian Chamber of Conciliation and Arbitration (CCAH). This institution, dedicated to resolving disputes in the sports field, acts at the service of all Haitian sports federations.

As part of the harmonization of its statutes, in accordance with FIFA requirements, the FHF is committed to recognizing and using the competent bodies for the arbitration of football-related disputes.

From now on, any dispute involving the FHF or its members (leagues, clubs, players, officials, etc...) must be submitted, as a last resort in Haiti, to the CCAH.

If necessary, these disputes may be brought before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), whose decisions are final, unless specifically prohibited by national legislation. This approach excludes any recourse to ordinary courts, in accordance with the principles established by FIFA and the international sports movement.

The FHF plans to work closely with the CCAH to ensure a fair and effective legal framework for resolving conflicts in the football environment. This meeting marks a decisive step in the institutional integration of the CCAH within Haitian football, with the aim of laying solid foundations for a lasting partnership.

Through this commitment, the Haitian Football Federation reaffirms its determination to promote transparency and justice, in the service of the development and flourishing of football in Haiti.
