Eng. Raphaël Hosty, Minister of Public Works, accompanied by Eng. Charles Raymond Pierre, Director General of the Ministry, recently met with Kazuhiko NISHIUCHI, Chargé d'Affaires a.i of the Embassy of Japan in Haiti.

This meeting provided an opportunity to explore ways to strengthen cooperation between Haiti and Japan, particularly in the field of infrastructure. Minister Hosty stressed the importance of Haitian-Japanese collaboration, which has led to the completion of several infrastructure projects, such as the construction of civil engineering structures.

Both parties agreed on the importance of strengthening this cooperation and exploring new partnership opportunities.

"This meeting represents a significant step in strengthening bilateral relations between Haiti and Japan," stressed Minister Hosty, who said he was determined to continue this dynamic of cooperation, aimed at improving infrastructure in Haiti.
